Shaquille O’Neal has firmly cemented himself as a man who is in the uppermost echelon of big-men in NBA history. He’s one of the most accomplished men to have graced the hardwood and upon becoming an NBA analyst, he held himself up to a similar standard. Nikola Jokic is another big man who, while he hasn’t won a championship, is an era-defining frontcourt player with countless All-Star and All-NBA nods to go along with 2 MVPs.

The Denver Nuggets, after dropping two straight games to the Phoenix Suns away from home, stormed back for a blowout win in Game 5 in Denver. The number one seed in the Western Conference is now 1 win away from being in the WCF, ready for a potential rematch of the 2020 Bubble WCF against the Los Angeles Lakers.
En route to leading the Nuggets to victory tonight, Nikola had himself a career night by dropping yet another Playoff triple double. This one in particular would etch his name in history even more so than his previous accomplishments have.
Shaquille O’Neal and Nikola Jokic interact after the latter has a triple double
Nikola Jokic dropped 29 points on 60% shooting from the field while grabbing 13 rebounds and dishing out 12 assists. This triple double of his put him above Wilt Chamberlain in career Playoff triple doubles.
The ‘Inside the NBA’ crew interviewed him on the court from Studio J and let him know that he had just passed Wilt in this stat. as someone who never really cared about his individual statistics, Jokic seemed impressed with his feat and then went on to ask the crew if Shaq was on the list.
In response, ‘The Big Aristotle’ hilariously said, “No, because I never passed Big Honey.” It’s unclear where Shaq got the nickname ‘Big Honey’ from but it certainly was interesting to hear him call the Serbian superstar this.
Ernie Johnson: “You passed Wilt Chamberlain tonight for most triple-doubles by a Center. Congrats on that one too.”
Nikola Jokic: “Nice. Thank you. Is Shaq on that list?”
Shaq: “No cause I never passed Big Honey.” 😂 pic.twitter.com/UYdBhuzWha

Shaquille O’Neal voiced his opinion on the Nikola Jokic-Mat Ishbia scuffle
Shaquille O’Neal took to his Instagram after Game 4 of the Nuggets-Suns series to give his opinion on the Nikola Jokic-Mat Ishbia courtside scuffle. Nikola and the Suns owner would get into it late in the second quarter of Game 4 when the latter held onto the ball on the sidelines until Jokic gave him a slight nudge.
‘The Joker’ received a $25,000 for this but was not suspended and rightfully so. Shaq even took to his Instagram story to let his followers know that he believes Ishbia sold the flop to get Nikola T’d up.
