Udonis Haslem was ejected from his 2020-21 season debut for an altercation with Dwight Howard. The Heat veteran is totally unapologetic.

The Miami Heat held on 106-94 to win one of the Sixers’ worst games of the year. They contained Joel Embiid for a paltry 6 points on the night, making him sweat and persevere without fruit for much of the game.
In a slugfest of a game, defense reigned supreme as the Heat held Philly to their lowest total of 2021. This is in immediate conjunction with their other 94-point outing with the Pacers.
But their struggles in one of the season’s final games of the year might be a cause for concern. Joel Embiid, in particular, looked shook at the coverages thrown at him and had a wretched outing.

“I was planning on talking even more s***”: Udonis Haslem
Haslem’s encounter with Dwight Howard was quite clearly a lot more than just some friendly banter. The 40-year-old says he chipped in with some proper rebounding banter with Dwight, who was once a rebounding champ:
“I was planning on talking way more s*** after the game about my rebounding stats. It didn’t work out like that. If this is the last one, I finished it the only way Udonis Haslem could — with an ejection. I said if, Tim. If.”
Udonis: “If this is the last one, I finished it the only way Udonis Haslem could — with an ejection.”
Was that a hint?

Haslem might really have played his final regular season game with the Heat. Or he may have a couple of more minutes left in his tank before the season ends. Either way, we hope that he graces NBA courts with his energetic presence for more than a few minutes next time.
