LeBron James has been in the league for 18 seasons. In these 18 years, he has shown us how far hard work, perseverance, and dedication can take you. LeBron entered the league as a top prospect, and 18 years later, he still is one of the best in the league.
No one is a stranger to LeBron’s accomplishments. He’s a 17x NBA All-Star, getting the start each time. He’s a 13x All-NBA player, a 4x NBA MVP, a 4x NBA Finals MVP, and a 4x NBA Champion. LeBron James is top 10 in all categories in the playoffs.
However, more often than not, we see people displaying hate towards the King. Just because he has been performing at a high level for so long, we keep forgetting that he’s a human too, and he ages as well. Shannon Sharpe talks about the same on Undisputed.
Shannon Sharpe believes LeBron James won’t be appreciated till he retires
In the latest segment of Undisputed, Shannon Sharpe talks about how the greats of any game are not shown the love they deserve till they retire. He took the example of Magic, Bird, Michael Jordan, and Kobe Bryant. Sharpe believes the same would be the case with LeBron James.
We don’t appreciate greatness until players retire.
There were people who didn’t appreciate Jordan, Kobe, Magic and Bird until they retired. People aren’t going to fully appreciate what Brady and LeBron accomplished until they’re done. https://t.co/Xd7w4739Zn

Sharpe’s co-host Skip Bayless then later said that he felt that LBJ was overrated. To this, Shannon said, “If you think LeBron James is overrated, given his resume, you don’t know basketball.”
If you think LeBron James is overrated, given his resume, you don’t know basketball.
Imagine someone holding what you did in the 2nd grade against you today, given your entire life’s work.
That’s how y’all be sounding. pic.twitter.com/esLR2qAvtM

LeBron James is a one-of-a-kind talent that the league and the game of basketball have ever seen. Instead of knocking him down for what he hasn’t accomplished, we should try to take in his greatness while we can.
