Jonathan Isaac did not kneel during National Anthem

Jonathan Isaac, the Orlando Magoc star did not kneel during the national anthem for Nets vs Magic and it will be interesting to know his point of view.

With the NBA restart tipping off on 30th July, all 4 teams involved on the opening night kneeled during the national anthem. This was done so as to use the platform of the NBA to spread more awareness about the ‘Black Lives Matter’ campaign.

From LeBron James to Kawhi Leonard to the referees, every single individual out there kneeled in solidarity. It was assumed that that would be the norm especially for the first few games of every franchise.

Why did Jonathan Isaac not kneel?

However, Jonathan Isaac chose not to do that today and that has got social media talking.

With no national broadcast for the Nets-Magic game, people streaming the game online saw one man standing during the national anthem and it just seemed odd to them.

He also chose not to wear a Black Lives Matter shirt, like his teammates and compatriots. The move comes a massive surprise to everyone involved with the NBA. All players have voiced their opinion on BLM and kneeling during the anthem to make a statement.

However, it seems Isaac would have his own reasons and those shall be communicated to the world after the game is done with. A few fans have argued that Isaac did not kneel because of is knee issue, but then not wearing the Black Lives Matter jersey? Something seems off.

The world is talking about Jonathan Isaac now and awaits his reasons for not kneeling during the national anthem.
