Clippers small forward Kawhi Leonard was rested against Blazers as part of load management. However, he still managed to be the talk of the town, thanks to his brilliant face mask.
Kawhi Leonard mask: Where to buy it from?
The pandemic has forced the NBA to conduct the league restart in a confined area (Walt Disney World, Orlando) in order to prevent any athletes, coaches or support staff from contracting the virus.
The basic protocol for every player is to wear a mask and Kawhi used that to grab some eyeballs tonight.
Clippers’ forward was rested against Blazers but his facemask stole the show. The black and grey face mask had a brilliant phone cord wire as straps; which really intrigued everyone that came across it.

The phone cord strap massively added to what already was a brilliant piece of mask design. Leonard really is the ‘fun guy’ of the NBA.

Kawhi rested against Blazers
Doc Rivers decided to rest Clippers star as it is the best time to do so. With the playoff approaching the coach will want his star players to be fit and healthy. Kawhi has been impressive in the restart as he has scored 20+ points in each of the previous four encounters.
The 6-Foot-7 has averaged 26.5 points, 5.5 rebounds and 4.2 assists in the season restart. If Clippers wish to go deep into the playoffs and possibly win the NBA title, Kawhi will have to stay healthy and continue his rich vein of form.
Clippers in Orlando
The West is stacked as only 6 games separate No.2 seed Clippers and No.7 seed Mavericks. Clippers have had a decent campaign with three wins and two defeats. They lost against the Lakers and Suns, winning against Pelicans, Mavericks, and Blazers.
No.3 seed Nuggets are a potential threat for Clippers as they can displace Clippers from the second spot. If Clippers manage to win their next three games then they are definitely finishing on the second spot. The side has to face two strong opponents, Nuggets and OKC in their last two seeding games.
However, with PG and Kawhi firing on all cylinders, they should be able to get that 2nd seed.
