The LA Clippers came out in no mood to play with their food in Game 4. They raced to an early first quarter lead for the first time this series, forcing Quin Snyder to take an early timeout. Despite Quin’s best attempts, the Jazz continue to reel under a 24-point lead at halftime.
This was all made possible by some stout Clippers defense as they held Utah to a lowly 13 points in the first period. The Jazz offense recovered in the 2nd quarter, but the Clippers continued to pile onto their lead.
The Clippers scored 30 points in their first period despite not shooting that well. They improved on their shooting in the 2nd quarter to increase their lead to a dominant 44-point margin.
The highlight of the game thus far was created by Kawhi Leonard, who dunked all over Derrick Favors in the final minute of the half.
Kawhi Leonard throws it down on Derrick Favors as Donovan Mitchell looks on
Kawhi has been in pretty good form in the game thus far. He didn’t really connect on all his jumpshots as he was wont to against the Mavs. But he still imposed his presence more than sizeably with a grown man move.
In this particular dunk, he cocks it back and throws it down on Derrick Favors with murderous intentions. Even a slightly dazed Clippers crowd couldn’t believe what they were seeing.
OMG KAWHI.

The Clippers have the opportunity to finish the series off at home if they can win this game and the next one at Vivint Arena.
