NBA superstars and personalities such as Kevin Durant and Ayesha Curry react to Drake’s impersonation of Klay Thompson on Instagram.
Canadian rapper, Drake, has an interesting relationship with superstars such as Kevin Durant, that reside within the NBA. He’s been on the sidelines for quite nearly all of the Toronto Raptors’ Playoff games and would even make an appearance for an important regular season game as well.

Perhaps his most noteworthy ‘performance’ on NBA hardwood would have to be his trolling of the Golden State Warriors in the 2019 NBA Finals. Everything from wearing a custom Dell Curry Toronto Raptors jersey to jawing with Kevin Durant and Draymond Green, Drake let the Dubs know the Raptors would prevail.
However, it seems as though the ‘Hotline Bing’ rapper is on great terms with a bevy of the same superstars he’s seen arguing with at NBA games. Guys like LeBron James and Klay Thompson were foils to the Raptors but it’s clear they keep the beef on the court and enjoy each other’s company off it.
Drake’s impersonation of Klay Thompson on Instagram drew the attention of Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, and more.
Klay Thompson hasn’t played competitive NBA basketball, ironically, since those 2019 NBA Finals against the Raptors due to a torn Achilles and torn ACL. On his journey to rehab, the sharpshooting Warriors seems to be living his best life as he’s seen singing Drake’s ‘Mob Ties’ on a jet ski of sorts.
Drake of course took notice of his buddy both, singing his song and congratulating him on winning the elusive ‘Artist of the Decade’ award and dueted the video on Instagram, impersonating him. This drew attention from NBA personalities and superstars such as Kevin Durant, Draymond Green, Lonzo Ball, Ayesha Curry, and many more.

As highlighted in the comment section of the post shown above, they all had a fairly similar reaction as they commented the laughing emoji several times. It does go to show that Drake definitely knows how to handle relationships with influential people across the country. He wouldn’t let a silly little Finals spat drive a wedge between him and NBA superstars. Smart man.
