Kevin Durant fires back at Zoe Creator and Lakers fans

Recently, some Lakers fans bought out the topic about the star being insecure about his legacy before winning a championship and later realizing that he needs to win a championship without a super team. Durant has to remove a big asterisk in his career as the star will always be derided for not winning a championship with a non-superteam.

The entire conversation happened on Zoe Creator’s Tweet, who had had an altercation with KD last week, when he slandered him in a podcast. Durant fired back at him by following his girlfriend on Twitter and liking all her pictures.

Durant’s journey in the NBA

Durant became a star in the league with the OKC Thunder as he formed a formidable duo with Russell Westbrook. However, the superstar turned on his franchise as he decided to join the Golden State Warriors after the Dubs lost the 2016 NBA finals despite being 3-1 up.

The Warriors had a regular season record of 73-9 and fans till date have criticized Durant’s decision to sign for a super-team and make it nigh impossible to beat.

The Warriors won back-to-back NBA titles with Durant claiming 2 NBA finals MVP during those two finals. Durant and co. dismantled the Cavs 8-1 combined in those two NBA final series.

However, a Achilles injury prevented Durant to compete entirely during the 2019 NBA playoffs as the Warriors went down to the Kawhi-led Raptors. Durant has always been sour about not being in the same conversation as 3-time NBA champion LeBron James. The former OKC star came close to dethroning the proverbial King before going down with an injury.

Durant decided to sign for the Nets in the summer of 2019 as the former MVP looks to secure his legacy as an all-time great with a non-super-team. Durant will return to the NBA next season as the star joins forces with former Cavs star Kyrie Irving in Brooklyn.
