Memphis proved a formidable opponent for the Lakers, but last night was a blowout. The King led his team to a 40-point victory, beating the Grizzlies 125-85. Now, they wait patiently to see which of their Pacific Division rivals, the Golden State Warriors or the Sacramento Kings prevail.
Either way, this win is one for the records. Especially considering how hard they fought to get there, making their way through the Play-In. We expect no less from LeBron, but perhaps a brief moment shared with Nicholson is what motivated him even further.

Kyrie Irving and Adele aside, the biggest name was none other than Jack Nicholson. The Shining actor is a die-hard Lakers fan and wasn’t going to miss the chance to see his team progress. He even embraced The King near his usual courtside seats. Seats he hasn’t sat on since the Lakers’ 2021 season opener.

After all, the man has been a season ticket holder since 1970. With the Lakers gunning for an 18th championship banner, best believe Nicholson isn’t going to miss the opportunity to bare witness.
