Did LeBron James actually buy the $52 million mansion?
The Instagram post was put by an account names Mega mansions with 2.2 M followers. Several pictures of the mansions were put on the post alongside a long description of the mansion. James commented on the post “Owned by someone? On sell? Asking for a friend?” and that’s where the rumors started from.
The rumor spread like wildfire, with all major media houses reporting that LeBron had infact purchased the property, one that had all amenities that a man could desire.
Four-time MVP winner owns two-property on the Westside. One of which is in Brentwood, a 9,440 square foot property worth $21 million and a new-build mansion in the same area with a price tag of $23 million, which he purchased in 2017.
Not entirely sure how it got this far, but this house sold to an international buyer in January for $42 million. It’s not LeBron’s. @CBSLA https://t.co/tgiaXKtfF3 https://t.co/qKjpl5kRBm
