"LeBron James proved Space Jam 2 will be great, he's a great actor": Paige Spiranac sarcastically applauds Lakers star's 'acting' after getting eye-poked vs Warriors

LeBron James brings the worst out of some basketball fans. Paige Spirinac will fall into that category in the eyes of a few people for her tweet.

The Lakers rallied from a 13-point halftime deficit to take the 7th seed on Wednesday night. LeBron James and Anthony Davis were both some way off their best, but they made it work through their stifling defense.

The Warriors were unable to post more than 28 points in a single quarter. They ended the night losing the game 103-100 as the Lakers capitalized on a second-half surge.

LeBron ended up with a 22-point triple-double, while AD had 25 points, 12 rebounds and a few stocks. It wasn’t a pretty game on offense for either player. James was his usual imperious self as a facilitator, but he looked off the pace for the first half and preferred playing as a forward and initiating sequences from the post.

There is definite cause for concern among Lakers Nation, but they’ll take the W and the 7th seed for now. The Warriors, meanwhile, await their game against the Memphis Grizzlies in a battle for the 8th seed.

Paige Spiranac trolls LeBron James for his ‘acting’ after Draymond Green eyepoked him

Paige Spiranac is a name that not many basketball fans may have heard. The 28-year-old is a podcaster who earlier played college golf and was briefly a pro golfer.

Spiranac was among those who felt that James was exaggerating the effects of an eyepoke by Draymond Green. Referees conferred at the replay center to determine whether the contact was worthy of a flagrant foul.

Dray managed to evade the flagrant call in questionable fashion as James writhed around trying to regain his normal vision. James would go on to swish the gamewinner from 34 feet while claiming he couldn’t even see properly.

That was to happen later, however, as Spiranac joined CJ McCollum in calling LeBron James a good actor.
