Ever since Lonzo Ball got traded from the Lakers to New Orleans Pelicans, he has drastically improved his game. Recently, there have been a lot of trade talks surrounding Lonzo.

Though he isn’t the player he was expected to be, entering the league, many teams would want him in their lineup. The Warriors, Nuggets and Clippers are among the teams who are involved in trade talks for the 23-year-old.
ESPN analyst Stephen A Smith revealed the team he believed would be perfect for Ball. Smith suggested that the 6-foot-6 combo guard should be traded to the Clippers. Currently, Reggie Jackson and Patrick Beverly are the guards for the team. But Stephen A believes that the Clippers won’t win a championship with the two. He expressed:
“I’m here to tell you that Lonzo Ball should be traded to the Los Angeles Clippers. Everybody knows that Kawhi Leonard has been whining about wanting a point guard since he got to LA. He was even crying about it since Doc Rivers even before Doc Rivers was.”
“No offense to Kawhi Leonard, he should be demanding an upgrade at point guard. Reggie Jackson isn’t gonna help anyone win a championship. And Patrick Beverly, when he gets healthy is a hell of a defender, no doubt. But he is a bit limited on the offensive end of the floor. Lonzo Ball though, a natural facilitator.”

“Lonzo Ball will make sure that the Clippers’ offense is humming”: Stephen A Smith
Ball is one of the elite passers in the league. According to Stephen A Smith, he will make sure that Kawhi and Paul George get open looks. Apart from his offensive abilities, Zo is also a great perimeter defender. Smith explains why should LAC acquire yet another great two-way player in Lonzo:
“He’ll (Lonzo) make sure Kawhi and Paul George get open looks. He’ll make sure that the offense is humming. But most importantly, Lonzo Ball on the Clippers would mean Kawhi Leonard is out of excuses.”
“Kawhi Leonard will have to give us the playoff matchup against LeBron and the Lakers that we were promised, that we were waiting for.”
And to that I say………SO WHAT! No one is saying Lonzo can’t play. I’ve never question that. What I’ve repeatedly question is his aggression. His ability to lead. Because that’s what true point guards need to do. https://t.co/LVR5iWXzh6

Lately, Ball has been in tremendous form and has a great chance at the Most Improved Player. He has been averaging 14.2 points, 5.6 assists and 4.2 rebounds per game while shooting 38.5% from behind the arc. There is no doubt that the Clippers will strengthen their championships aspirations adding a player like Lonzo Ball on their squad.
