LeBron James has released a rap song with Kevin Durant in the past. But he says he won’t be rapping whenever he drops an album.

One of the Lakers star’s most prominent methods of passing time is to lipsync with lyrics on social media. James has dropped tons of snippets of him rapping alongside various artists on his Instagram stories.
That isn’t to say, however, that James is any good at it. The way he butchered lyrics from a song by 6LACK led to the rapper cracking jokes about it on Twitter – to the extent that he received his most likes ever on a post.
What matters the most, however, is the commitment and dedication to being an artist. And James seems to possess both of these qualities by the bucketload.
LeBron James declares his undying love for music, teases a new album
It was the Lakers’ off day tonight, so James got to watch the Jazz make short work of the shorthanded Clippers. After that game (and the Warriors-Heat game) finished, James took to all social media to post this message:
“My love for music is INSANE!!! I think I’m going to do a album. Oh no I won’t be rapping or anything like that. I’m not crazy, I know what I’m great at, but I tell you one thing I do have. So many friends that can. Thinking out loud!”

LeBron has become one of the permanent fixtures in American pop culture. Industry stalwarts like Rihanna and Jay-Z are probably on his speed dial, so rest assured that he will release a star-studded album if he ever decides to go through with this calling.
