NBA Draft 2020 Time : What time is NBA Draft 2020 in USA & UK?

NBA Draft 2020 Time : The NBA Draft 2020 is scheduled to take place today, the 18th of Wednesday in USA at ESPN’s studios in Bristol, Connecticut.

Many consider this 2020 NBA Draft class to be a rather weak one. There is no consensus no. 1 pick, no surefire All Stars and most of the top prospects have questions surrounding their ability to translate their game to the pros.

The names of James Wiseman, LaMelo Ball and Anthony Edwards have come up in various discussions as the top talents on the board. But there are a number of middling prospects with the capacity to turn into superstars. The likes of Tyrese Haliburton, Dani Avdija and Killian Hayes are all in the mix as well.

What time is NBA Draft 2020 in New York, Chicago, Houston and California?

The NBA has scheduled the Draft proceedings to start at 8 PM Eastern Time. This means that the draft will begin at 8 PM in New York and Boston, 7 PM in Chicago and Houston, 6 PM in Phoenix and 5 PM in the state of California, including the city of Los Angeles and the Bay Area.

Given that the listed time of the start for the Draft is 8 PM by Eastern Time, it will be 6:30 AM tomorrow by Indian time. GMT is 5 hours and 30 minutes behind IST, therefore in UK, the draft will start at 1 AM on 19th November.

The NBA Draft is one of the few ways teams can pick up undervalued talent easily. The Boston Celtics currently have 3 first-round picks in this year’s draft in their hands. They can fill out their roster with these recruits to dodge the luxury tax.

It will be a surprise if any team is able to package a top draft pick this year in any kind of a blockbuster trade deal. But the possibility of that happening is well within sights. The Timberwolves, Warriors and Hawks have all been speculated to be shipping their picks from this draft.
