"Putting together ownership group for Atlanta Dream, who's in?": LeBron James explains why he wants to buy WNBA team from Georgia senator Kelly Loeffler

Lakers’ superstar LeBron James expresses his desire to buy the Atlanta Dream from Georgia Senator Kelly Loeffler.

LeBron James is a champion. Not only on the basketball court but in life in general. He is a champion of society, he is a champion of the people, he is a champion of equality and rights.

LeBron showed his efforts in making the NBA sensitized to the BLM movement and getting the NBA as a whole to stand with the same. LeBron also started the More than a Vote movement to get record turnout for the US Presidential elections.

It seems like LeBron now has a new cause on his mind. Earlier he posted on social media and showed his desire to buy the Dream from Georgia senator Kelly Loeffler.

What led LeBron James to put his hat in the ring for the Dream’s ownership?

During a time when all major sports leagues were uniting to fight the injustice in society and take a stand for the Black Lives Matter movement, Georgia senator and Dream co-owner Kelly Loeffler had a different plan. She said she did not support the Black Live Matter movement and called for the depoliticization of professional sports.

Despite being pressured to sell her shares in the team, she has continuously refused to do so. A lot of the Dream players were seen wearing ‘Vote Warnock’ T-shirts in the WNBA Bubble. They showed their support for Senator Loeffler’s opponent as a sign of protest.

Meanwhile, along with fighting the good fight, LeBron James has been doing really well on the court as well. Yesterday night’s 96-92 victory over the Grizzlies marked the 4th consecutive win for the defending champions, and LeBron led the way with his 26 points, 11 rebounds, and 7 assists.
