So, Russell Westbrook is a good three-point shooter now. If you saw that coming, raise your hand. And just so we’re clear anybody in the room that just did raise their hand is clearly full of some serious horse dung. With the amount of slander this man got on a day-to-day basis, nobody, not even the biggest fans of the Brodie were ever seeing this.

Westbrook deserves all the credit in the world at the moment but now is not the time for it. You see, the LA Clippers will be without both Kawhi Leonard and Paul George tonight for game 3. In other words, if the Clippers want to win this against Kevin Durant and the superteam Suns, they are going to need a big game out of Russ.

But, if you saw the man pre-game, you wouldn’t know he cared. In fact, during one of his pre-game interactions, it almost seemed like the man felt like he was Stephen Curry from deep. Let’s take a look, shall we?

Russell Westbrook has come leaps and bounds as a three-point shooter over the last couple of years. And as a result, the man shot 31.1% from there, on a much higher volume than ever before.

However, the man has been elite in his last 5 games. Yes, from three-point range. The man is shooting 45% from there. So of course, during pre-game warmups, despite the loss of his co-stars, the man was feeling beyond confident. Just take a look at the clip in the tweet below to see what happened.

That is a very, very happy man. And after everything he has gone through so far since he left the OKC Thunder, it’s fair to say that the man is beyond deserving this purple patch. However, can he keep it going to win game 3 against the Phoenix Suns tonight? Who knows, but it’s undeniably going to be a fun watch.

During game 1 of the series against the Phoenix Suns, Russell Westbrook scored just 9 points. He did this on 3 of 19 (15.8%) from the field, 1 of 6(16.7%) from three, and 2 of 3(66.7%) from the free-throw line. On the other hand, when the man came out for game 2, he came out ready to score.

During part 2 of this series, Westbrook scored 28 points, on a stellar 9 of 16 (56.3%) from the field, 2 of 3 (66.7%) from three, and a perfect 8 of 8 from the free-throw line.
