Shaquille O’Neal carried out a neat impression of Joel Embiid at halftime today as Trae Young and his Hawks won Game 4.

The Atlanta Hawks came back from an 18-point deficit in the 2nd quarter to take today’s game. They got great contributions from all across the team. John Collins was the major revitalizer for Atlanta, punctuating the 3rd quarter with some emphatic dunks.
Joel Embiid, meanwhile, had an awful, AWFUL 2nd half for an MVP contender. He missed every single one of his shots in the second half, going 0-for-11 at State Farm Arena. It was his slowdown that meant the Sixers began stuttering on offense in the 3rd quarter.
It eventually became a Hawks lead at the end of the game with some clutch play from their team. Bogdan Bogdanovic, Trae Young, Capela and John Collins all pulled their weight to make sure they leveled the series 2-2.
Embiid will surely be smarting after his own terrible performance in Game 4. However, he has the support of the TNT studio crew, who believe he can take the Hawks down by himself.
Shaquille O’Neal mimes Joel Embiid passing out of a double team attempt by Trae Young
The TNT crew has been on fire of late, giving us some pretty great clips for entertainment as the games go on. While the Clippers have taken a sizeable halftime lead, we look back at the Inside crew’s halftime antics from today’s first game.
Shaq and Chuck were discussing how Embiid can pass out of double teams. Embiid did indeed flash some good passing acumen in Game 3, and Chuck and Shaq wanted to analyze his psyche in such situations. The result looks something like this tweet below.

Embiid would be well-served to heed this advice better down the stretch of close games. He effectively cost the Sixers today’s game by missing a bunny layup with 40 seconds left in the game.
