In all fairness, when you are an absolute legend and people just send you songs before they are even released, you can likely not help but feel yourself. And if we know one thing about Michael Jordan, he certainly has a penchant for vibing.

Usually, fans would assume the NBA legend has a taste for rock and hip-hop. With his documentary’s music theme dominated by hip-hop, it was easy to confuse his taste to be limited to that. However, surprisingly, the Bulls legend also loves listening to Taylor Swift.

Michael Jordan once blared Taylor Swift on the golf course

Taylor Zarzour, the namesake of the globally popular singer Taylor Swift, is an ESPN commentator covering college baseball and football. Zarzour may have brought to the public the greatest Michael Jordan x Music story in history.

While on SiriusXM Radio, Zarzour revealed that while on the golf course, in the middle of a 36-hole game, Jordan was seen blaring Taylor Swift songs much to the fans’ surprise. For fans, this loud announcement of Taylor Swift love from MJ was as surprising as it was amusing.

Zarzour: “He was blaring Taylor Swift from his speakers. Can you imagine that? The greatest basketball player ever, Michael Jordan, blaring Taylor Swift?”

The surprise and amusement in Zarzour’s voice clearly point out how strange it must have felt for everyone on the course. In all fairness, no one would have identified Jordan as a Swiftie. But her music from his speakers, while he played his second favorite sport, was proof enough for the world.

Fernando Alonso is one of the most popular F1 racers in the modern world. Alongside the likes of Sebastian Vettel and Lewis Hamilton, Alonso has also built his own name that is on par with other legends. Alonso is as popular as they get and his link with Taylor Swift, though a little surprising, seems believable at first glance.

However, it is very unlikely the two are actually together. Alonso broke up with his long-time girlfriend recently. Taylor Swift apparently also broke up with her partner and the timing of these two instances caused some to spread rumors of their alleged relationship. In all likelihood, they are not together and these are baseless rumors.
