"Tobias Harris wearing Michael Jordan's cape": Sixers star retweets meme depicting his face in place of the GOAT in the 'I took that personally' format

Philadelphia 76ers forward Tobias Harris shares a meme on Twitter after drilling the game-winner over the Lakers

The Philadelphia 76ers handed the Lakers their first road loss of the season. Before the match with the Sixers, the Lakers were 10 and 0 on the road. The Lakers lost their first road game of the season courtesy of Tobias Harris and his game-winner over Alex Caruso.

It was a close match throughout, but the Sixers managed to edge out a win counting on Joel Embiid’s 28 and Tobias Harris’s 24. LeBron James put up 34 for the Lakers, and Anthony Davis complemented him with 23, but it just wasn’t enough. The Lakers bench came to life in the final period, but ultimately it was too little, too late.

Tobias Harris ‘took it personally’ as he serves the Lakers with a game-winner

Tobias Harris is often blamed whenever the Sixers lose, due to his massive contract. Even though Harris has been the second-highest scorer on the Sixers this season, trailing Joel Embiid, he still ends up as the receiver of a lot of hate.

However, Harris gave no-one a chance to complain. He scored 24 against the Lakers, going 10-16 from the field, and finally hitting the game-winning mid-range shot over Alex Caruso. After the win, Harris went on to show his funny side on Twitter.

The Sixers now boast the best record in the East at 13-6. Tobias Harris has played a big part in the Sixers’ success. He has been averaging 20.1 points this season while shooting 52.5% from the field and connecting on 46.1% of his shots from the deep.

The Sixers would plan to make a long post-season run this season with the roster they have assembled, and Harris would have to play an important part in the same.
