The Los Angeles Lakers are in trouble! A surprising move by the team had Anthony Davis back in the starting lineup. After playing the initial five and a half minutes, AD tried to explode and run, when he seemed to aggravate his injury. He left after grabbing one rebound and dishing one assist.

The things do not look good for the defending champions. At the half, the Lakers are down by 21 points. The Suns hold a 62-41 lead over the Lakers. Devin Booker came out with an agenda, as he has a staggering 33 points in the first half. For the Lakers, LeBron James has 14 points and KCP has 11.  The Suns are shooting 60% from the 3-point line. That has been causing so much trouble for the hosts.

Skip Bayless blames LeBron James for Anthony Davis’ injury

Game 5 without Anthony Davis was a disaster. The defending champions had gotten blown out 115-85. Coming home, Game 6 was a win-or-go-home game. This may have been a big motivation behind Anthony Davis wanting to suit up tonight. Davis was the key offense provider in this series, averaging 34 points in the games the Lakers won.

However, once AD had to quit the game due to him getting injured, Skip Bayless did not wait for long before targeting LeBron James.

We are yet to see whether the defending champions can manage to keep their season alive. A big team effort would be needed if the Lakers want to force a Game 7 in the series. They have their work cut out for them.
