Prathamesh Dake is my first bowler for this match. Dake picked up 2 wickets in the last match and looked like picking up more. He can give me many wicket points so in he comes! Moondeep Mangela is my next bowler. He comes at just 8 credits and bowls a number of overs at the death. This might get him a few bonus wickets and me a few bonus points. Saksham Jha at 8 credits is a steal. He bowled beautifully in the last match picking up a wicket. I expect Jha to come good in this match.
All-rounders for NBB vs NMP
I am going to go with 3 all-rounders for this match. Karan Nande was amazing to watch with the bat in the last match. He should also get a few overs to bowl and pick up some wickets. Nande who batted at No. 7 in the last match is expected to be promoted up the order which also increases his scoring potential. Atif Attarwala also makes my team on the back of a good performance in the first match. He contributed significantly with both bat and ball and is a handy cricketer. He comes in definitely. My last all-rounder for this match is a toss up between Sairaj Patil and Sujit Nayak since I cannot afford both. I go with Nayak simply based on the fact that he was scintillating in the last match scoring 52 off just 21 balls and picking up 2 wickets as well. Patil is unlucky to miss out.
Batsmen for NBB vs NMP
Prasad Pawar batted beautifully in the last match scoring a balanced half-century. Bring him in as he looked in great form. Vikrant Audi will be opening the innings and hence, I bring him in and expect him to put up a better show. He comes at 8.5 credits and is worth a shot.
My other 2 batsmen are the Delhi Capitals Mainstays, Prithvi Shaw and Shreyas Iyer. The duo have been in great form since the IPL itself and we’re crucial members of the team which ended up 3rd in the IPL. Hence, based on their class, calibre and form, I bring them both in in spite of them having a quiet opening match. Iyer will be my captain since he is very dependable while Shaw is the vice captain for this match.
