The United for Hockey (UFH) is a unique 5-year old hockey club based in New Delhi comprising alumnus of The Doon School, Mayo College, The Scindia School, Welham Boys’ School and a few other prominent Indian schools. The Vision for the United for Hockey Invitational
The UFH aims to associate and build visibility with the alumni and students of four of India’s premier public schools: The Doon School, Mayo College, The Scindia School and Welham Boys’s School. The aim is to establish a partnership in the inaugural year of a tournament that UFH intends to grow over the years to include a larger number of schools and their Alumni.
The vision is to provide Indian Schools with an opportunity to play competitive hockey on world class astro turf facilities. This is being done to increase the popularity of a sport in which India has tasted its greatest international sporting success. This will also be done in an environment that promotes camaraderie between schools, students and alumni.

Who are the ‘United for Hockey’
The United for Hockey (UFH) is a unique 5-year old hockey club based in New Delhi comprising alumnus of The Doon School, Mayo College, The Scindia School, Welham Boys’ School and a few other prominent Indian schools. The club members include working professionals from various fields including law, media, civil services, armed forces, business and not-for-profit sector.
There are currently 50+ members in the age group of 18-60. The club holds weekly games at the Major Dhyan Chand National Stadium. UFH plays periodic hockey fixtures against the schools that will participate in the UFH Invitational 2017.
Alumni of the Doon School that are members of UFH have organised an Annual hockey tournament for Doon School Alumni at the National Stadium since 2011.
