Pickleball is a sport that is quickly rising up the ladder in terms of fans and viewership across the globe but especially in the United States. After only a few million trying out the new sport until 2021, the numbers sky-rocketed to an astonishing 36 million Americans stepping on the pickleball court. Naturally, people are also now eager to tune into professional tournaments of the sport and a big one is starting today- Major League Pickleball San Clemente.
MLP San Clemente is the third and last event of 2023’s season one of pickleball. With the top 48 players set to compete, it promises to be an exciting event that fans will not want to miss out on. And given the sport’s surging popularity, it made all the sense for it to be broadcasted.

Fans of pickleball will get to sit back and enjoy watching the sport on none other than Tennis Channel. The network was quick to realize the potential of the sport and made the decision to televise a pickleball event in 2021. That decision turned out to be a successful one, leading to Ken Solomon, CEO of Tennis Channel, to double down on it.
Tennis Channel will broadcast and stream all Major League Pickleball events from 2023, which makes sense given the similarities the sport shares with lawn tennis. It’s likely there is quite an overlap of fan bases between the two sports. Pickleball will be available to stream for users of the Tennis Channel International subscription.
The official YouTube channel for Major League Pickleball will also broadcast the event.
