Neymar reportedly met Lionel Messi after the Copa America semi-final clash, in which Argentina lost to Brazil by 2-0. It is further reported that Neymar had a private chat with Messi ahead of his speculated move to Barcelona.
In this summer transfer window, the Brazilian International is heavily linked to make a return to the Nou Camp from PSG, after falling out with the club administration.
Whereas, Neymar has allegedly also agreed a personal deal with Barcelona, and is set to earn €24 million per season in a five year deal – a €12.8 million reduction on his current salary in Paris.
However, negotiations between Barcelona and PSG are not getting any easy, with Les Parisiens not willing the 27-year-old forward to go at a low price.
Although, Barcelona are trying to add Philippe Coutinho in the swap deal with some cash for Neymar, but still there are complications in the transfer.
Thus, Neymar has reportedly organized a private meeting with the Barcelona captain and his best friend to help his cause, as his opinion on all football matters is hugely valued at Camp Nou – and Neymar is acutely aware of this.
In a video emerged, the Brazilian International was spotted embracing Messi after the match inside the tunnel. However, Messi was not looking in a good mood, and didn’t stick around for very long at all initially.
