Neymar provides final verdict on Real Madrid transfer
Real Madrid and Neymar seems to be a never ending story. The Whites have been linked with a move for the Brazilian ever since he signed for PSG. It has been observed that Florentino has an “obsession” with signing him. The 13 time European champions are ready to pay €42 million yearly to their target.
There have been a few rumours about the player transferring to Real in the last few months, but both parties denied. Real Madrid in fact released an official statement not once, but on two occasions addressing the news surrounding them.
However, there was fire even after Cristiano Ronaldo’s departure, this time throwing up more smoke than ever before. Eden Hazard is the second on a host of players’ list linked with Real Madrid in the last week.
Neymar also like his potential recruit has spoken about his intention of not signing for them at least for the moment. “Yes, I will stay in Paris. I have a contract with PSG. The majority of speculation is invented by the press,” he said.
“I have a contract and people know the objective, the reason why I went to PSG. I want to win with this club and I hope this season will be wonderful.”
Neymar had a bitterly disappointing tournament in Russia on a side note. The Brazilian was expected to be a wrecking man in the World Cup but was miserable but succumbed to the pressure.
The South American favorites were banished out of the competition against a resolute Belgium side. Neymar now faces a major test against PSG, who are expected to do well in Europe again due to their star trio.
