Young gun, Bryce Young has already established himself as a massive entity in the football world. Talking another positive in his journey to greatness in the NFL world, Young recently scored the highest in his cognitive testing at the Combine.

The Alabama QB scored the most in the S2 cognition score among all other quarterbacks in the NFL Draft class. The NFL Draft analyst, Daniel Jeremiah, revealed that Young had the best score.
In the S2 cognitive test, athletes take a test that lasts for 30 to 40 minutes. A specialized laptop measures their ability to process information. Additionally, it also assesses how quickly the player makes a decision in their sport. Even though the young talent did a commendable job on the test, many fans ignored that and made fun of his stature.
Fans rip Bryce Young apart for being too short
S2 Cognition has examined 40,000 athletes. It also has partnerships with 14 NFL franchises, as per Brandon Ally, the co-founder, and neuroscientist behind the test.
The test is super important and some of the best signal-callers in the league have performed terrifically in it. Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes were off the charts, while Brock Purdy had the highest score in 2022. It is a significant achievement that Young is getting compared to intelligent minds like Allen, Mahomes, and Purdy. But despite being compared to such skilled quarterbacks, fans are focused on what Young is lacking. Again bringing the Alabama QB’s height into question, here’s how fans reacted.
Yeah, but he's tiny.

So he’s smart enough to know that 5’10 QBs don’t work in the NFL.

Will height be an issue for the Alabama QB?
The top player is 5-foot-10 and as expected, there have been concerns about his height. He is not the first quarterback to face such issues, and he surely will not be the last.
Talented players like Joe Burrow and Kenny Pickett faced criticism over their hand sizes. Along with that, Baker Mayfield and Kyler Murray faced concerns about their height, but they were swooped up as the No. 1 overall.
Even though Young had an impressive career at Alabama, it will not be enough to put away concerns about his height. The question is, will those concerns become trivial on draft night? Shorter QBs like Russell Wilson and Drew Brees have thrived in the league.
While Young did not speak about his height in a recent interaction, he did say, “Hopefully, my work on the field speaks for itself.”
