Odell was joined by Dr. Disrespect as the duo played Call of Duty: Warzone. This comes three days after Dr. Disrespect gifted a custom controller to Odell. The Cleveland Browns player made his official debut as a professional streamer on Monday.
The custom Dr. Disrespect Controller –
Odell Beckham Jr. and Dr Disrespect’s team-up comes after the NFL star received a custom Scuf Impact Dr Disrespect controller as a gift. In trademark Doc fashion the gift accompanied a note. It read, “On September 28th I don’t want any excuses We drop into the warzone. We get the job done. We look good doing it.”
OBJ teams up with Doc –
OBJ and Doc streamed for close to two hours. It was a normal Doc stream with him taking OBJ under his wing as together they played Warzone. OBJ’s first YT stream did manage a decent 88,000 views.
Dr Disrespect’s online popularity was on full show as his three-hour stream amassed almost 300,000 views. Doc used an RPG to blow out a helicopter as it was mid-air, surely it was the highlight of the stream.
What’s next for the NFL star –
It seems Odell is very serious about making his career as a streamer. He is back on YouTube on Tuesday, as he teams up with Call of Duty star Seth ‘Scump’ Abner. Fans can watch the stream on Odell’s YouTube channel at around 8:30pm ET.
While otherwise known for his prowess on the football field, only time will tell if his proficiency transfers to even his streaming career.
