Manchester United’s former star Patrice Evra thundered down at Jerome Lothen after the latter accused him of lacking respect.
Manchester United defeated Paris Saint Germain 3-1 in an extraordinary game at Parc des Princes on Wednesday night.
The extraordinary scenes unfolded in the injury-time when VAR awarded Manchester United the penalty. However, an equally entertaining drama, at least for the neutrals, took place off-the-field as well, as celebrations from the Manchester United camp seemed to infuriate the PSG party.
There were reports of a bust-up between Neymar’s father and a friend of Eric Cantona’s after the latter seemed to make provacative gestures towards the Brazilian contingent.
Patrice Evra was also among those who watched the game at Parc des Princes, alongside Paul Pogba. After the full-time whistle, the celebrations lasted for a considerable amount of time.
However, Evra’s former Monaco and France teammate Jerome Lothen was left fuming with the former Manchester United star’s celebrations.

Lothen, who is now a pundit, launched a detailed rant in which he stated that Evra lacked the respect towards Paris Saint Germain as he celebrated Manchester United’s victory in the round-of-16 of the Champions League.
“Patrice Evra, who allows himself to make a video like that in the ground, the presidential box at PSG, in front of the Paris supporters, the shareholders of PSG … But you respect who?” Lothen said.
“Let him celebrate, OK. Let me know that he has marked the history of the club, OK. But respect!
“Whether he makes his videos outside or in the locker room, let him be happy, OK. We agree that he created history with Manchester United and not that of PSG.
“But it’s a question of respect, of education. Frankly Patrice, you’re my friend, but do not do that!”
Evra has now launched a brutal attack on Lothen, where he even threatened to ‘slap’ him the next time they meet.
“You really are mad, aren’t you my little blonde?” Evra said, in a detailed rant he posted on his Instagram.
“Your reward, next time I see you, I’m going to slap you in the face. These aren’t empty threats, you know we’ll see each other eventually.” he said.
