Premier League Transfer: Liverpool and Manchester United to battle for La Liga sensation

Premier League Transfer: Liverpool and Manchester United ready to battle for La Liga sensation Junior Firpo in this summer transfer window.

Junior Firpo is set to leave Real Betis this summer, after reaching to fame with his phenomenal performances with the Spanish giants aroused interests of several clubs.

In further advancements, according to a report by the Marca, Liverpool and Manchester United are vying for the services of the 22-year-old player.

The 22-year-defender is a left-back, and have blistering pace, which has helped Los Verdiblancos in attack several times. Firpo has expressed his desire to play in England, and amassed interests from both the giants.

Alberto Moreno left Liverpool after the end of the season, thus Jurgen Klopp is looking for replacements, to gain a back-up option for Andy Robertson.

On the other hand, Manchester United need immediate reinforcements at the back, with Luke Shaw giving inconsistent performance, Firpo seems like an upgrade to him.

The Spanish player is a raw talent with mere experience of 30 games in La Liga, but has impressed several viewers after his exhibits in La Liga.

It is further reported that Firpo might cost around €50 million, as his buy-out clause is set on this price. In this inflated market, this price doesn’t seem inflated.

Moreover, considering his potential, this price can turn out to be a bargain. Additionally, presently there are not many players at his potential with equal talent. Thus, Firpo is a must gamble at this price.

However, at the same time, investing so intensively on a player, who has such a brief experience in the top flight can turn out to be a fool’s play too.
