Radio Stations across Europe played “You’ll never walk alone” this morning to show solidarity against the outbreak of Coronavirus.

The spread of the COVID-19 has stopped nearly all activities in the world, with world governing bodies advising civilians to remain in self-isolation until the situation normalises.

While Europe is massively affected by the virus, today morning radio stations across the continent played “You’ll never walk alone” to show solidarity in the fight against the Coronavirus.

At 7:45 am GMT this morning, radio listeners will have likely woken up to Gerry & The Pacemakers’ 1963 classic which has become synonymous with Liverpool Football Club.

The act soon got a response by the social media, as people accepted to be a spine-tingling movement, while the world is distressed by the pandemic at this hour.

Other clubs also tweeted their support for the cause including German side Borussia Monchengladbach who played the song in an empty Borussia-Park.

The football fraternity has also been affected massively, many football stars including Mikel Arteta, Callum Hudson Odoi, Daniele Rugani, etc have been diagnosed positive with the virus.

Which immediate;y led to the suspension of all the professional leagues in Europe. The English FA yesterday further extended their suspension till 30th April.

Meanwhile, the UEFA postponed Euro to 2021 to smoothly complete the 2019-20 season smoothly. Many football icons have taken overwhelming steps to tackle the situation.

Recently, Chelsea announced that it will provide its team hotel to the NHS staff in London, whereas Gary Neville announced the same about his two hotels in Manchester.

The spread of the virus is likely to spread ahead and has already caused deaths to 10,00o people across the world, now all the governments are initiating preventive measures to slow down the spread
