RCB vs KKR Head-to-Head Statistics

RCB vs KKR Head-to-Head Statistics: The Sportsrush presents before you the Head-to-Head statistics for 17th match of IPL 2019.

The 17th match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League will be played between Royal Challengers Bangalore and Kolkata Knight Riders at Bengaluru. With both teams coming on the back of individual losses, both of them would be eager to come back on winning ways.

Despite the above mentioned, the hosts in RCB would be desperate because they are the only team in IPL 2019 without a single victory. With the match being played on their home ground, there won’t be better conditions for them to end their four-match losing streak.

RCB vs KKR Head-to-Head Statistics

Total number of matches played: 23

Matches won by RCB: 9

Matches won by KKR: 14

Most wickets for RCB: 10 (Yuzvendra Chahal)

Most wickets for KKR: 14 (Sunil Narine)

Out of the two times when both the teams faced each other in IPL 2018, Knight Riders had defeated Royal Challengers on both the occasions. While KKR won by 4 wickets during their home fixture, they bettered the number by winning by 6 wickets during their away fixture.

One common point between both the chases was one of the KKR opening batsman scoring a half-century in each of the match. While Sunil Narine scored a whirlwind 50 (19) in the first match, Chris Lynn scored a responsible 62* (52) in the second match. With Kolkata still opening the batting with Lynn and Narine, RCB would be looking to not let them get off to a start.
