The Brazilian moved to Paris Saint Germain only last year from FC Barcelona in the most expensive deal in football world.

Real Madrid are set to take a massive step in order to sign Neymar from PSG, according to Diario Gol. In a bid to land Brazilian star Neymar, the Madrid club is reportedly willing to sell four players.

Neymar moved to Paris Saint Germain from FC Barcelona last year but had a troubled season. After reports of training disputes between him and Cavani in the first half of the season, Neymar is currently sidelined due to ankle injury.

Neymar has enjoyed a successful domestic run with PSG, winning the league title and the French Cup double. However, various reports suggest that the Brazilian forward is unhappy at the French capital and wants a move out.

Spanish football website Diario Gol reports that Real Madrid is preparing a massive bid for Neymar and is set to sell four players. Gareth Bale, Karim Benzema, Isco and James Rodriguez are all going to be offloaded for around 175m to land Neymar in the Madrid capital.

Reports of Real Madrid’s interest in Neymar have grown strong after the forward met fellow Brazilian and Real’s newest signing, Vinicius Junior in Rio. Vinicius had previously expressed his desire to play with Neymar for Real Madrid.

Mirror reported earlier that Real Madrid is preparing a 230m bid for Neymar, while football website AS claimed that PSG won’t accept any amount less than 260m.

Neymar has played 30 games for Paris Saint Germain this season, scoring 28 goals. The forward will not play for the club again this season, as he continues his recovery from the ankle injury. It may turn out that the Brazilian star has already made his last appearance for the French giants.

Neymar became the world’s most expensive footballer last year in a transfer deal worth 200m. The 26 year old will rewrite history if his transfer to Real Madrid is successful.
