Real Madrid transfer news: Los Blancos ready to spend record-breaking price asked by PSG for Kylian Mbappe as the Spanish club targets new reinforcements.

Real Madrid had an underwhelming season, as they will end their season without winning any silverware. Thus, club manager Zinedine Zidane is vying for better prospects this season.

Apart from five mega-star signings, Zidane is also looking to gain the services of Kylian Mbappe. The French superstar rised through the ranks of Monaco in 2016 to be deemed as the next big thing. Later, the teenager signed for PSG for a massive fee and have been phenomenal for Les Parisiens since then. The French International has amassed 36 goals in 41 appearances across all competitions this season.

Moreover, his exceptional exhibits in the World Cup, 2019 in Russia were crucial for France’s title victory and made him win the Kopa trophy 2018.

On the other, Real Madrid’s forward line has been insipid ever since Cristiano Ronaldo left Los Merengues for Juventus.

Therefore, Zidane is targeting to land his compatriot from PSG. According to FranceFootball, Los Vikingos are willing to spend record breaking fee of £240 million for the player.

It is known that Mbappe is a childhood Real Madrid fan and his countryman leading the charge at the Spanish club may work in favour of the Madrid based club.

However, PSG would be loathe to lose the 20-year-old but their financial fair play issues might compel them to lose the youngster. Whereas, Real Madrid would be eager to gain his services considering his potential rise in following years.
