Real Madrid Transfer Players: Zidane will sell 14 players in summer window

Real Madrid are ready to sell 14 players in the summer transfer window.

There is no doubt that Real Madrid are looking to bolster their squad for next season. The Los Blancos have ended their season with major silverware for the first time in four years and Zinedine Zidane is not keen to slowly move the club.

Spanish publication Marca report that Real Madrid are looking to ship off as many as 14 players in the summer transfer window as they begin to rebuild the club again. It would take a hefty amount for the potential incoming, including Eden Hazard, Paul Pogba, Ferland Mendy, and Luka Jovic.

In order to fund the moves, Zidane is prepared to cut loose some of the starters this summer. Keylor Navas, who has been opted as the first choice goalkeeper will be heading the exit door in the summer window. Luca Zidane and Andriy Lunin will play understudy to Thibaut Courtois.

In the backline, the likes of Sergio Reguilon, Jesus Vallejo, and Theo Hernandez have been told to find new suitors. All three have struggled to go toe-to-toe with the first team starters which has forced Zidane to place them on the transfer list. Raphael Varane, who was searching for a new adventure, will stay at Santiago Bernabeu. Eder Militao is the only addition in the defense department till date, and Ferland Mendy is another name doing rounds in the white side of Madrid.

James Rodriguez, Martin Odegaard, Matteo Kovacic, Marcos Llorente, Oscar Rodriguez, and Dani Ceballos will be allowed to leave the club at any cost, whilst Brahim Diaz, and Isco will be assessed in the forthcoming weeks. Despite the exit rumours, Toni Kroos is anticipated to stay put at the club. Paul Pogba, Christian Eriksen, and Donny Van de Beek are targetted for the midfield slot, and one in that shortlist could end up in the capital city of Spain.

Gareth Bale has been strongly linked with a move back to the Premier League since the arrival of Zinedine Zidane. The Welshman along with Raul De Tomas and Borja Mayoral will leave the club in the summer. Lucas Vazquez and Mariano’s future hangs in the air after struggling to step up the gear this season. The club is coy on Luka Jovic, who is wanted by Zinedine Zidane.
