Ashley Young wanted by Inter Milan

Inter Milan have registered their interest on Manchester United’s Ashley Young and could make a move for him after this season.

Manchester United’s Ashley Young is attracting interest from Serie A giants Inter Milan. They are looking to lure him to San Siro when his contract expires after this season.

The Red Devils are keen to tie him with a deal, but there have been no talks from the player’s camp yet. He could follow former Manchester United captain Nemanja Vidic’s footpath should he opt to sign for the Serie A outfit.

Former Manchester United Jose Mourinho often used him through the left flank of the defence where he struggled to cope up with it. He has now opted through both the wings under the Interim boss Ole Gunnar Solskjaer.

He has made 19 appearances this term, scoring once and assisting three times. He has been trusted by his managers and has been handed the armband on plenty of occasions this term.

The contracts of Ashley Young, Antonio Valencia, Juan Mata, Marouane Fellaini, and Ander Herrera’s contract ends aftermath this season. Should Manchester United let their fullback for free, there is no doubt that the Red Devils will be looking to recruit someone in that department.

There were various reports that Ashley Young is one among the few players who had the trust of the former manager Jose Mourinho when he was at Old Trafford. He continues to give it all despite being criticised by Old Trafford for his performances.

The Red Devils are looking to do some business in the January transfer window as they battle with Arsenal and Chelsea for a place in the top four. The board has decided to back Ole Gunnar Solskjaer during this window as they seek to qualify for the Champions League this term.

Juventus’ Douglas Costa and the Golden Boy winner Matthijs De Ligt have been linked with Manchester United. With the Brazilian demanding game time at Juventus and the Netherlands International tipped to join a bigger club, the Red Devils are willing to take advantage of it.

Ashley Young moved to Manchester United in 2011 when Sir Alex Ferguson decided him to lure to Old Trafford for a fee of 20 million. Since then, he has made 221 appearances for the Red Devils, scoring 17 and assisting 2 in the process.

There is no doubt that the English outfit would want a clear-cut picture about their new manager before the season ends. The future of the English International depends on the new manager who has been more often used as a utility player at Old Trafford.
