PSG opened the scoring in the 28th minute of the match through Neymar. The Brazilian then mimicked Dortmund striker Haaland’s ‘Zen’ celebration.
The celebration was once again repeated, this time however, by the entire squad following the final whistle.
That was far from the end of it, with the squad, led by Kylian Mbappe, mocking the teenager once again in their dressing room.
Neymar then posted an image of him doing the celebration on Instagram with the caption: ‘Paris our city, not yours.’
That begs the question why were PSG so hostile to an up and coming teenager?

The backdrop for all the events that followed the match actually happened well before the game had even started. What seems to be an act of bullying on the part of the PSG players, was in actuality an act of retaliation for an image posted by the Norwegian on snapchat captioned: ‘Paris is my city’.
This makes sense as to why the Parisians were so irked with the youngster and it showed in their performance. Although, you are well within your rights to wonder if they maybe went a little too far in their obsession with making a fool out of Haaland.
