Dipa Karmakar, majority of us didn’t knew her before Aug 5th. She came into the summer games, with no expectation on her shoulders, and then she went into the finals of Gymnastics Vault. We were already very proud of her then.
Today, in the finals, Dipa made two jumps and scored a total of 15.066 while the third position winner was at 15.216. She has come so far as deserves every bit of applause we all can shower on her.
Dipa Karmkar has made all of us proud. We wish her all the best in the future.
Was I the only Indian to get a little tearful with pride watching Dipa? Dont care if she gets a medal. She's made us proud #DipaKarmakar
