Ronaldo hits Khedira: Juventus returned to winning ways with a comfortable 3-0 victory over Sassuolo in Serie A.

Cristiano Ronaldo was on target again during the game against Sassuolo in the Serie A last night.

The side registered an emphatic 3-0 win, with Sami Khedira and Emre Can also scoring in the game. Ronaldo also showed his solidarity towards Paolo Dybala in the game with his mask-celebration in the game.

Sami Khedira scored the first goal of the match. However, he had to face the brunt of Ronaldo’s frustration later in the first half after he committed an accidental handball near the box.

Ronaldo, clearly frustrated with himself over the handball, kicked the ball furiously. However, the ball accidentally landed on Khedira’s face.

The German collapsed to the ground and Ronaldo walked to help his teammate, with a wry laugh on his face.

Here’s the video:

Well, if anything, Khedira did Ronaldo favour by coming in way of his kick. The Portuguese forward would’ve been shown a yellow card if the ball flew to the stands.

Sami Khedira scored the first goal of the game, while Ronaldo scored with an excellent header to doubled the lead for Juventus.

Ronaldo also played a part in the third goal as he combined with Paolo Dybala in an excellent build-up play, with Emre Can finishing the move with a superb goal.

Sami Khedira had no hard feelings towards Ronaldo at the end of the game and he took to Twitter to talk about the incident.

Juventus are currently at the top of the Serie A. The side extended the lead to 11 points in the league table after the second-placed Napoli were held to a goalless draw by Fiorentina. Inter Milan are third in the table.

Allegri’s men will now take on Frosinone this weekend before meeting Atletico Madrid in the round-of-16 tie in the Champions League.
