Tottenham Hotspur are currently feeling threatened by Real Madrid.

Real Madrid are looking for a possible revamp in the summer transfer window. The Los Blancos are lining up plenty of deals to reinforce their squad for the forthcoming campaign.

Several reports quote that Florentino Perez is lining up a deal for the trio Mauro Icardi, Eder Militao and Christian Eriksen. However, the Spanish capital club is looking at Tottenham Hotspur’s trio consisting of Christian Eriksen, Harry Kane, and Mauricio Pochettino, according to AS.

In the Saturday’s newspaper from the AS, there were reports that the London club director Daniel Levy was infuriated and upset when he heard the movements made by the reigning European Champions.

Since Florentino Perez is not only looking at Christian Eriksen but also Harry Kane and the manager Mauricio Pochettino, Tottenham Hotspur are currently ‘feeling threatened’ as they are said to open their newly developed White Hart Lane which can hold up to 63,000 people.

The report also added that Eriksen is one of the wanted man in Real Madrid’s transfer list this summer which has made Daniel Levy go livid upon hearing this news. Despite his contract running down up to 2020, the London outfit are said to demand a fee of 250 million Euros to stand a chance of luring him away from England.

It is unlikely to see Harry Kane head the exit door after extending his contract up to 2024. On the other hand, the Danish midfielder could be on his way from England as he has only 18 months in his contract.

Manager Mauricio Pochettino has a release clause of 40 million during the summer transfer window, but the Los Blancos will have to nudge off Manchester United’s interest to land him. He looks increasingly likely to leave, but negotiating with Daniel Levy is not an easy task.

Luka Modric is certain to leave the Los Blancos in the forthcoming summer window and the club sees Christian Eriksen as a replacement for the Croatian International. The World Cup runner-up was close to joining Inter Milan in the summer window, but the move was blocked by the reigning European Champions. However, with his contract running down until 2020, Perez will be looking to cash in on him.

There is no doubt that Real Madrid and Florentino Perez have on eye on the English outfit. It will be interesting to see how Tottenham Hotspur would react if they receive an irresistible offer in the summer transfer window.
