Ronaldo's amazing gesture

Ronaldo’s amazing gesture: Cristiano Ronaldo came up with a classy gesture for a fan who was hit by Ronaldo’s shot.

Cristiano Ronaldo has emerged as one of the key performers for Juventus. The forward has scored the most goals for Juventus in the Serie A and is the second-highest goalscorer in the league, behind Fabio Quagliarella.

The Portuguese forward has become a fan favourite at the club. The Juventus fans often join Ronaldo in collectively screaming ‘siuuu’ when Ronaldo does his trademark celebration.

And Ronaldo also ensured that he gives the love back to one of his fans with an amazing gesture.

A Juventus fan, named Elena Di Martino was at the stadium during the side’s game against Chievo Verona when one of Ronaldo’s shot hit her on the nose during the warm-up session. She was left with a broken nose following the hit.

After the match, she wrote that she ‘expected an invite for dinner’ to make up for the injury from Ronaldo.

While the footballer didn’t invite her for dinner, he certainly made up for Di Martino’s poor experience.

The forward invited her to one of the side’s training sessions and even gifted her a signed jersey.

Di Martino posted a picture with Ronaldo following the invite:

In their last game against Lazio, Ronaldo scored a late winner through spot-kick as Juventus maintained their eleven-point lead over Napoli at the top of the table.

The Turin-based side is yet to lose a game in the Serie A this season.

Juventus have been drawn with Atletico Madrid in the Champions League round of 16. They finished at first in their group which included Manchester United, Valencia and Young Boys.

What next?

Juventus will be back in action later tonight as the side takes on Atalanta in the quarterfinal of the Coppa Italia. They return to league action on Saturday as they host Parma.
