Team India led by Virat Kohli have had a smooth trip skinning the opposition alive without any speed breakers so far.

Barring the Champions Trophy final, everything was hunky dory for the Virat Kohli & Co that managed to catch up certain parameters on the game with grit and determination.

Men in Blue have bluewashed Sri Lanka 9-0 in unfamiliar climes whereas replicated the same winning rhythm against the Aussies as they wrapped up a 4-1 series victory to reclaim the No.1 spot in the ODI rankings.

India might have cracked the nuts against the depleted Lankans at their fortress but the cricket experts are doubting whether India can survive in foreign soil against the likes of England, South Africa, Australia and so on.

With India’s runfest going on with blistering pace, the former Indian skipper and CAB President Sourav Ganguly said that Virat Kohli & Co will face the real test when they tour South Africa.

India have futuristic home tours coming ahead as they play New Zealand after their three-match T20I series. After they complete the homework against the Black Caps, they take on Sri Lanka as well.

Ganguly is pretty confident that India can defeat New Zealand and Sri Lanka like a hot knife through butter but mentioned that they have to do well against South Africa in the tour to come.

“Virat Kohli has got qualities of being one of India’s great captains, there’s no doubt about it. I think next 15 months will be important for him when India go to South Africa, England, Australia and the World Cup.

I think he is in the right direction. He is preparing his team, he’s picking players and giving opportunities. They will beat New Zealand and Sri Lanka, there’s no doubt about it.

India will be challenged when they go to South Africa but I feel this side has got the ability to do well there as well,” Ganguly told while speaking to India Today.
