#2) Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang (Arsenal)

Price: £11.1

Total FPL Points: 55

Bonus Points: 10

Games: 8

Goals: 7

Assists: 1

Despite Arsenal being made fun off so much in recent weeks, they find themselves at no.3 in the table currently and much of it has to do with Aubameyang’s form. The Gabonese striker has singlehandedly carried Arsenal so far and looks good to so for a good while longer.

He costs a bit more than Pukki but with his ability to consistently find the back of the net without needing much assistance from his teammates means that you’re guaranteed to garner points for you in a manner that will not allow you to miss Aguero from your side.

It also helps that Arsenal play easy opponents in the coming week. Aubameyang is a good player overall but he is much more terrifying when facing mid to low tier clubs. Which means that there is a good chance that the Arsenal forward may prove to be an excellent investment.

#1) Tammy Abraham (Chelsea)

Price: £7.7

Total FPL Points: 54

Bonus Points: 11

Games: 8

Goals: 8

Assists: 0

Tammy Abraham has undoubtedly been Chelsea’s find of the season. He’s only 8 games in and has already notched 8 for the Blues already (The same number of goals as Aguero). He has put behind the disappointment of the UEFA Super Cup to steady Chelsea’s ship in the Premier League under Frank Lampard.

With his price being near about the same with Pukki, he is a much more cost-effective purchase than Aubameyang, Tammy Abraham also comes with all the advantages one would have over picking Pukki. However, the fact that Abraham plays for a far superior team means that he will always have more chances of scoring than Pukki has with Norwich.

Abraham also has the advantage of playing relatively easier opponents in the coming weeks. Chelsea will face Newcastle United, Burnley, Watford and Crystal Palace in the next 28 days. In comparison Norwich will face a plucky Bournemouth and a wounded Manchester United in the next fortnight.
