Playing in front of the defenders and behind the midfielders isn’t the most exciting position to play in. Very rarely do you get applauses for cutting attacks a few yards outside the box or spraying passes from the back and yet Busquets does them better than any other.
His role allows both Barcelona and Spain to employ another wall of defense in front of their backline and have yet another pivot in the middle who can help launch counter attacks. Sergio Busquets ‘When football becomes art compilation’ shows how criminally underrated he is
YouTuber ‘AS Comps – Match Compilations’ has recently uploaded an 11-minute compilation of all things Busquets and it is simply magnificent. In the video we can watch him display his innate awareness, defence splitting passes and ability to cut attacks without breaking a sweat.
The video has already gathered more than 50,000 views in just 24 hours!
