Shikhar Dhawan unhappy with Emirates Airlines after airport fiasco!

India’s specialist opener Shikhar Dhawan is absolutely livid with ‘Emirates Airlines’ for refusing to let his wife and kids board the flight from Dubai to South Africa.

Shikhar Dhawan’s family was asked to submit some official documents like birth certificates and so on which they of course didn’t carry along with them.

This was extremely unprofessional by Emirates Airlines, as the reputed airline agency did not inform Dhawan before hand to carry these documents.

They were all waiting to board the flight from Dubai to South Africa, when Dhawan and family were not allowed to board the flight.

Shikhar Dhawan was obviously furious, as he had to leave his wife and son in Dubai, before he left with the rest of the Indian team to South Africa. He then took to his official Twitter handle to launch a furious tirade at Emirates airlines.

“Absolutely unprofessional from @emirates. Was on my way 2 SA with my fam & was told that my wife and kids can’t board the flight from Dubai to SA.

Was asked to produce birth certificates & other documents for my kids at the airport which we obviously didn’t have at that moment,” Dhawan tweeted.

Shikhar Dhawan said that his wife and son are at Dubai airport waiting for their documents to come, as only then would they be able to leave for South Africa.

The fact that one Emirates official was being rude to the Dhawan family only made things worse, as Dhawan complained about his behaviour on Twitter.

“They are now at Dubai airport waiting for the documents to arrive.

Why didn’t @emirates notify about such a situation when we were boarding the plane from Mumbai? One of the Emirates’ employee was being rude for no reason at all,” Dhawan echoed.
