SRH vs CSK 2019: The Sportsrush presents before you three intriguing player battles ahead of the 33rd match of IPL 2019.
The Sunrisers Hyderabad, who are heavily dependent on their openers, have to get their house in order if they harbour any hopes of making it to the top 4 at the end of the League stage. SRH cannot afford to lose too many matches now. They would be facing an upbeat CSK who already have 14 points and look hungry for many more wins.
CSK should try to maintain their form and not get complacent. They have the points and the top position on the table but the IPL is full of examples of riches to rags stories. Let us have a look at some of the player battles on display during this match.
Deepak Chahar vs Kane Williamson
Kane Williamson has just played 2 matches this season and has not looked in good form. He would want to get back among the runs and bat like he did in 2018 when he won the Orange Cap. However, standing in his wat would be the young Indian seamer, Deepak Chahar. He has mightily impressed many with his slower ones, swinging ones and all his other variations. It has been tough to put him away and it will be interesting to see how Williamson copes up with his accuracy.
Bhuvneshwar Kumar vs MS Dhoni
Dhoni has been in scintillating form in this IPL and would like to carry that forward in a bid to lift the IPL trophy again. Very few have been able to get the better of MS Dhoni in the tournament. However, Bhuvneshwar Kumar would be backing himself to get his former Team India skipper’s wicket at the death before he goes berserk and finishes off the innings in0the way only he can. Bhuvneshwar also needs to show that his death bowling skills have not waned and he can still be relied upon to deliver.

Imran Tahir vs Jonny Bairstow
Bairstow has been dismissed by leg-spinners on 5 out of 7 occasions in this IPL. If he has any weakness, it is this! Dhoni would surely have noticed that and would look to target him with Imran Tahir’s leg-spin. Tahir has been wonderful with the ball and is coming off a Man of the Match performance against the Kolkata Knight Riders. Tahir would want to get rid of the dangerous Bairstow as soon as possible while Bairstow would want to dominate the spinner and prove that he can play them well.
