Who will win SRH vs RR at Hyderabad: The Sportsrush presents before you the Match Prediction of eighth match of IPL 2019.
The eighth match of the ongoing 12th season of the Indian Premier League will be played between Sunrisers Hyderabad and Rajasthan Royals at Hyderabad tonight. A peculiar similarity between both the teams is that they lost their first match of IPL 2019 from a point where they should have won it.

There is no denying the fact that both the teams might not be on top in terms of enticing eyeballs but it doesn’t mean that they don’t have it in them to put on display an exceptional competition. With both of them possessing some of the best T20 players across the world, expect a riveting match between SRH and RR.
What numbers suggest?
Out of the nine matches which Sunrisers and Royals have played against each other, Sunrisers have won five while Royals have won the other four. Royals, who have played only two matches at the Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium against Sunrisers, are yet to register their maiden victory.
Albeit by a low margin, Hyderabad lead the way as far as numbers are concerned. In a bid to register their maiden victory in this season, they would be counting on these numbers against RR.
Paper value
Combining both teams on paper, one feels that Sunrisers have it in them to outdo the Royals. The hosts will be bolstered by the return of regular skipper Kane Williamson. What might not go in Rajasthan’s favour is their bowling lineup with respect to their opposition’s.
In Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Rashid Khan and Shakib Al Hasan, Sunrisers have bowlers who can stop the threat possessed by the likes of Jos Buttler, Steve Smith and Ben Stokes. Not that Royals have a poor bowling unit against the likes of David Warner and Williamson, the odds look to be on Hyderabad’s side.
How Twitter reacted:
Sunrisers is just too strong a team for Rajasthan to beat. Especially when they have best top 3 in Warner, Bairstow & Williamson. Best Indian bowling factory. Best spinner in Rashid.

RR campaign started on a controversial note when Buttler became the first cricketer in IPL to be ‘Mankaded’, the practice of running out non-strikers, who back up early, by bowlers on their delivery stride. https://t.co/fGhb5wzGOg #SRHvsRR #RajasthanRoyals #SunrisersHyderabad
