About the IDBI Federal New Delhi Marathon 2017
Following the spectacular success of the IDBI Federal Kolkata Marathon 2017 last week, Delhi gears up for its edition now! Keeping the growing interest of Delhites in mind, the organisers have decided to extend the registration deadline. The last day to join is Feb 12, 2017. The IDBI Federal New Delhi Marathon 2017 is scheduled on February 26, 2017.
The registration count for this event stands at 8000 runners till date. A whopping amount of 27 lakhs across various categories is on the line. There are four events in this marathon – Full Marathon, Half Marathon, 5K Swacch Bharat Run and a 10K Time Run. The entry fee for these races are 1400,1200,600 and 850 respectively.
An unique event
The 10K Time Run is a new entrant among the events for this Delhi edition. Also, IDBI Federal Life Insurance is looking to promote a great cause through the 5K Swacch Bharat Run. Moreover, as evident from the name, the race will propagate the message of a clean and green India.
Also, in another amazing move, this will be India’s first ‘inclusive’ marathon. Differently-abled runners will also be participating alongside other marathoners. This facet of the IDBI Federal New Delhi Marathon 2017 will promote the ideals of equality and sportsmanship.
