Jordan Ayew is perhaps the most economical of the choices on offer. The Crystal Palace forward will constantly give you points and will only cost you 5.1m. The money you save by purchasing him can help you strengthen other areas of your team.

With Crystal Palace not facing either of the big 6 until January, in Ayew you have a safe option that would cost you almost next to nothing. However, the downside to getting Ayew is that while he provides you with a steady stream of points, it would be foolhardy to expect a double-digit performance from him.

It is advisable to look at your team before coming up with any decision. If you already have good enough strikers in your team, the Ayew would be the best back-up purchase for you. However, you can give this a miss if you’re looking for a striker that can harvest great points.
