Tammy Abraham injury Three potential replacements for Chelsea striker in FPL Gameweek 14

#1) Danny Ings

Danny Ings is the man that sits right between Jordan Ayew and Raul Jimenez. The Southampton forward’s 6.1m price is very economical for the points he has amassed. He already has 58 points to his name after 13 matches and has a tally of 15 points in his last 3 matches against Manchester City, Everton and Arsenal.

Ings would also be a viable first team choice should you, for some reason, decide to discard Tammy Abraham altogether. Southampton play relatively easy opponents in their next 5 games until they face Chelsea on 26th December.  By the time Southampton finish playing Watford, Norwich, Newcastle, West Ham and Aston Villa, you will likely have already got your money’s worth before Christmas.

Keeping him in your side will also give you the extra cash that you can redistribute in other areas that may need a look in. You may finally be able to buy a prolific goal scoring forward that has been wrongly categorized as a midfielder for that extra points.

All in all, the most ideal situation here would be to keep a hold on Tammy Abraham until there are more details surrounding his injury. However, if the worst happens, you already have replacements lined up for you. The fact that neither of the 3 have many takers means if and when they give you points, your mates probably won’t.

Chelsea will take on West Ham tomorrow at the Stamford Bridge. The Blues currently sit on 4th with 26 points and could move to 3rd tomorrow if they win and Manchester City lose against Newcastle United.
