"Nets now have a flat earther, multiple burner accounts and honey buns": Jay Williams hilariously calls Kyrie Irving, Kevin Durant and James Harden the oddest NBA trio ever

Jay Williams roasted James Harden, Kyrie Irving and Kevin Durant all at once by listing their funniest deeds in public memory.

The ESPN host has been the latest sports commentator to join the Brooklyn Nets bandwagon. However, that did not stop him from making fun of the trio based on their most popular controversies.

Jay had called Kevin Durant ‘ burner accounts’ due to his embarrassing slip up in 2017 . KD accidentally tweeted using his verified account when he actually meant to use his burner account.

He called Kyrie a flat earther in reference to Uncle Drew’s embarrassing declaration. Lastly, he called Harden ‘honey buns’ due to his comical decision to gift Lil Baby a Prada bag filled with the popular pastry.

Many fans then took to the internet to make their own funny comparisons. It’s safe to say that the above-quoted tweet won by a country mile.

How seriously should we take the Brooklyn Nets with James Harden?

Despite the number of people making fun of the Nets trio, many NBA stars have expressed concern rather than laughter. The Nets managed to assemble three of the best shooters that the league has to offer which makes them a nightmare to defend.

Many believe that the Harden trade will incentivize Kyrie to be more of a team player. To make matters worse for the league, the Nets still have some cap room to add a role player.

The Brooklyn Nets are currently the only team in the league that is equipped to stop the Lakers. Therefore, it will be interesting to see if a new dynasty will be born nearly two years after the disintegration of the last one.
